At Shan Maggam Boutique, each blouse is carefully handcrafted with detailed Maggam work, Aari embroidery, and custom stitching. Because most of our products are made-to-order and customized based on customer requirements, our return and refund policy is designed accordingly.
1. Custom Orders
Most of our blouse designs and embroidery work are custom-made based on the design, measurements, and preferences provided by the customer.
Therefore:
- Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged once the order is confirmed and work has started.
- Advance payments made for custom orders are non-refundable.
2. Order Cancellation
Orders can only be cancelled before the embroidery or stitching work has begun.
Once the production process starts, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded due to the handcrafted nature of the work.
3. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is:
- Damaged during shipping
- Incorrect compared to the confirmed design
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue.
After verification, we will assist with:
- Repair or correction of the issue, or
- Suitable resolution based on the situation.
4. Measurement Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements for blouse stitching.
Shan Maggam Boutique will not be responsible for fitting issues if incorrect measurements were provided by the customer.
5. Color and Design Variations
Due to:
- Different screen displays
- Lighting conditions
- Hand embroidery techniques
There may be slight variations in color or design details, which should not be considered defects.
6. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may only be issued in rare cases such as:
- Product unavailable after payment
- Order cancelled before work begins
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 5–7 business days.
